Beth Hewitt
Beth Hewitt teaches American literature and popular culture at Ohio State University, including, most recently, a course on True Crime with lots of comics. She is the author of Correspondence in American Literature (Cambridge University Press, 2005) and essays in Science Fiction Studies, Yale Journal of Criticism, ELH, Arizona Quarterly, among others. And, of course, here at guttergeek, she is our resident expert on historical graphic narrative.
